ENT stands for ears, nose and throat and means the same as otolaryngology. ENT doctors are surgeons who graduated from medical school and decided to focus on surgery in our ears, noses and throats. We’ve all had clogged ears, a stuffy nose, or a sore throat. ENT specialists are the ones who can help you through all ear, nose, and throat-related issues or conditions, no matter how simple or severe.

Highly Specialized Care Team

Our ear, nose and throat clinic is set in a dedicated building, with a dedicated doctor who specializes in nearly every ENT area. For example, one SIU physician spends her time in the operating room working on only voice and throat surgeries. This means we are able to treat your diagnosis in a variety of areas of ENT, and that the doctor spends their entire day working on very specific issues, sinus surgery for another example.
